Documentary Video Production is our area of expertise. Stephen Cocklin, DP, is the 2001 recipient of the Emmy award for Excellence in Cinematography from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. This distinguished award is given to the most outstanding photographer of the year in North America and represents the pinnacle of success for a photographer in television and film.
Our most recent documentary video production was creating a 30 minute doc for USAID on their successful program to overcome malaria in Africa. We traveled to 4 African countries last summer to create a documentary for USAID on their successful program to eliminate cases of malaria by the use of insecticide treated mosquito nets. Their program combines the knowledge and resources of public health ministries and private companies to make, distribute and sell mosquito nets; provide advertising and education awareness to the general public on the importance of mosquito nets; and encourages small local businesses in country to supply the nets which provide employment, awareness, and a sustainable supply of nets for the future.
This 30 minute documentary video production is closed captioned in English and with optional French subtitles. We are also creating 3 short vignettes on individual aspects of the program. The documentary, vignettes and trailer will be authored on a DVD, made available for streaming on the internet and on YouTube.
Cocklins Video has a number of government clients who rely on us for government training videos.
We made a series of multifaceted government training videos for the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation and are making more this spring. Each of the videos is available on the PBGC intranet to their employees. These government training videos were developed for training purposes and also to show the employees how their work directly affects other departments within the company.
Cocklins Video offers video streaming for the internet or company intranet and flash development. We are extremely talented at taking our clients' ideas and visions, expanding on them, and building a finished government training video that exceeds all expectations.
